Floorplans are handy if you want to ensure efficient and accurate setup for an event, particularly if you don't have time to supervise the placement of every table and candleholder.
The first step to creating an event floorplan is to add a diagram of the room to EventPro, if that hasn't already been done. From EventPro's main menu, select Setup > Location > Locations, and add the diagram under the Images tab for the room.
Next, you will add that diagram to the event. In the Event Maintenance screen, select the relevant booked location, and click "New" in the Images tab. You will be able to choose from images that you have already associated with the location.
Now, in the bottom left corner of the New Image window, click the Floor Plan Layout button. You can drag and drop objects such as tables, chairs and other equipment onto the floor plan as required. Save your floorplan and distribute copies to your setup staff.
